G.T.R.M.Govt. Degree College was newly established in the year 15th September-2008 and gradually developed in to a full-pledged degree college offering conventional courses at UG level. In memory of Sri. Gangula Thimma Reddy Ex MLA garu, his sons Sri. G. Prathapa Reddy Ex MP, Sri. G. Manohar Reddy , and Sri G. Prabhakar Reddy garu donated the land and constructed building at present location.
